These resources were created by members of Team 3322 to share with other teams and members of the FIRST community. Feel free to use these resources as you would like, but we ask that you keep any logos/branding or other crediting intact. Aerie Part Management System

A web-based part management system to ease the part handoff between Design and Fabrication subteams. This system includes:

  • integration with Onshape CAD software
  • checkpoints to ensure designs are reviewed before being released
  • notes from designers to fabricators
  • ability for fabricators to claim parts
  • tracking of how long a part has been claimed but not completed
  • categorization and sorting by means of fabrication (CNC, laser, hand-fab, 3D print, order), material, subsystem, etc
  • ability to restore parts and mark parts as fabricated incorrectly
  • checkpoints to log the storage location of completed parts
  • and a points-based award system and leaderboard for fabricators
    • one point per part fabricated
    • half point per assist in part fabrication
    • minus two points per part fabricated incorrectly

2026 Technical Binder

Annually, Team 3322 assembles a Technical Binder summarizing the year’s robot. This includes the strategic priorities, design iterations and final build, electrical layout, and a programming summary.

2026 Business Plan

The team Business Plan and Sustainability report is complied every season, and includes a SWOT analysis, short- and long- term goals of the team, a budget and finances summary, a sponsorship and fundraising summary, an outreach summary, and outlines future plans of the team.

Team Scheduling Template

Our team uses a Gantt chart to outline our season. We keep this in a Google Spreadsheet because we don’t need it to be particularly mutable, like a day-to-day schedule; instead, our team uses this to outline the entire season at a glance approximately one-two weeks after kickoff, when we know what subsystems will be on the robot and what competitions we’ll attend. This allows us to see what subsystems might be under a time crunch, know when certain subteams and students will be busiest, and set deadlines (such as the latest date for programming to receive the robot)

Scouting Software

In order to collect match data, our Strategy and Scouting subteam annually creates a scouting app. Scouters use tablets with this software to record match info, and when done they present the software’s generated QR code to be scanned by the lead scouter with a bar code scanner. This allows us to record match data efficiently at venues where wifi and cellular networks are spotty.

Swerve Drive Simulator

An online swerve drive simulator developed by our programming team. This simulator includes a competition-field-level view point, practice modes, and numerous timed challenges. It is also controller-compatible! This is perfect for teams to train drivers without using a physical robot. 

Please note: The simulator only works for Windows and is currently not compatible with Mac OS. New versions may be released periodically, requiring a re-installation of the app.
